Something Wild
With your See Tasmania Smartvisit Card, you will receive FREE Entry to Something Wild.

Something Wild is a 12 hectare conservation and rehabilitation sanctuary for native wildlife. Set on the banks of the Tyenna River, the viewing area here is Tasmania's premier place for spotting wild platypus. Other favourites you will meet include Tasmanian devils, koalas,
wombats, quolls and possums.

The generously sized enclosures have been especially designed for each species, to recreate their natural habitat as closely as possible. A popular stopping point is the Interpretation Centre which also houses the animal nursery where baby orphans are cared for. Something Wild is accessible from Hobart or the West Coast and is located just a couple of kilometres from Russell Falls in Mt Field National Park.

Something Wild is just one of over 60 attractions that make up the sightseeing pass known as the See Tasmania Smartvisit Card. This smartcard allows you entry and special discounted offers to this attraction and many more.
