The North East and East Coast of Tasmania are easily accessible from both the north and south of the state. On entering into this region of Tasmania you are entering into an area of history, picturesque beaches, rugged gorges and headlands and tranquil forests.

The East Coast is known as the ‘Sunshine Coast’ of Tasmania. The two largest towns in this region are St Helens and Bicheno, both beautiful port towns with stunning views and magnificent beaches of their own.
The white sandy beaches of the East Coast are a major draw card for locals and visitors alike, and Tasmania’s most visited National Park, Freycinet, is located here at Coles Bay!
Driving here is easy, just follow the East Coast Route!
